Hummus
Heather-size:
- 85g (1/2 cup) cooked garbanzo beans
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/8 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 drops sesame oil, or to taste
- water to thin to desired consistancy
Blend garbanzo beans, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, salt, onion powder, garam masala, and sesame oil in a food processor; stream water into the mixture as it blends until desired consistency is achieved.
Party Size:
- 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained, liquid reserved OR 2 cups cooked garbanzo beans + water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 drops sesame oil, or to taste
Blend garbanzo beans, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, salt, onion powder, garam masala, and sesame oil in a food processor; stream reserved bean liquid / water into the mixture as it blends until desired consistency is achieved.
