Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter or margerine, softened
- 3/4 cup (144g) granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup (144g) packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Heat oven to 375°F. In small bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In large bowl, beat softened butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs one at a time.
Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture then stir in chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 10-15 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft). Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Store covered in airtight container.
